This week we talk about Donna Ongsiako, a mother living on a flower farm in the middle of nowhere. Late one night she is face to face with a stranger at her door with a 10 inch knife. This week we talk about Brendan Casey, a business owner with his best friend. An investor meeting did not go as planned and Brendan’s friend becomes inconsolable and leaves. Brendan goes home to find his friend waiting for him with a baseball bat. We also talk about Dan Human, a backpacker taking a solo trip through an unbroken trail in the snow. He comes across a two log bridge and starts to cross. His sled that is attached to him falls and now he is stuck. Listen to how they survived now!

This week we talk about Gina Kershaw, a woman who was enjoying her alone time with a nice glass of wine at a local bar. After the bartender brings her a free glass of wine, she wakes up in an alley! We also talk about Henry Grant, a teenager hiking with his mother. He sees an older woman looking over the side of a cliff and then she falls! He starts his descent to try to save her. This week we talk about Maryann Bruce who is deemed “The Disaster Diva”. Throughout her lifetime she has had seven close calls with death including, a terrorist attack, plane crash, an avalanche and more. We also talk about three friends Jim Farrington, Sean Royston and Tolan Annis, who went kayaking on Lake Superior. The weather turned ugly fast and they were fighting six foot waves trying to get back to shore. They all got separated and had to survive on their own. Listen to how they survived now!

This week we talk about Victoria Cillers, a skydiving instructor taking a jump after one year to have a baby. Both of her parachutes fail as she falls 4,000 feet to the ground. It is discovered that someone tampered with her gear! We also talk about Sheri Niemegeers and Gabe Rosescu. They are taking a road trip when they are hit by a mudslide. This week we talk about Lyle Odelien, a retired NHL player. He goes to a golfing trip with friends, but gets attack by a jumping cactus. After he goes home he begins to develop flu like symptoms and ends up in the hospital. We also talk about Ryan Osmond, an avid hiker.
